Rocky Mountain Regional Cohort
Summer Institute
for Climate Change Education

This July, educators from across North America are coming together virtually to gain new skills for teaching climate change. We’d love for you to join us!

Wild Rose Education is proud to be leading a cohort of Rocky Mountain Regional educators from Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and Idaho during the Summer Institute for Climate Change Education, hosted by Climate Generation.

This three-day experience will have powerful and engaging keynote speakers, meaningful discussion about the intersection of social justice and climate change, and collaborative conversations between a national network of climate change education leaders. Educators (formal and non-formal) will leave feeling reinvigorated for the new school year and prepared to educate your students to be global citizens.

We are focusing on how you might integrate what you learn at the summer institute into your teaching practice in a way that creates or enhances solutions in your community towards a just and abundant world beyond climate crisis...

Scholarships

Everyone from everywhere is invited to apply for a scholarship while registering for the Summer Institute on the bottom of the registration page.

If you are in the Rocky Mountain Region (Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana), Wild Rose Education is managing the Institute scholarships.

Rather than a written application, we host Listening Calls with applicants. These 1:1 20 minute phone or zoom calls give applicants time to share a bit about themselves, why they want to attend the Summer Institute, and how we can support them prior to the Institute to ensure the space is welcoming, safe, and inclusive.

If you are from UT, CO, WY, ID, or MT and want to be considered for a full scholarship please contact us to schedule a Listening Call.
